MCI series 65000 Waveguide Switches are available in motorized or manual operated configurations.
The switches are manufactured from 6061-T6 structural aluminum and use contacting gates, which insure the high isolation that is necessary to eliminate crosstalk.  All switches can handle 280 kW, have low VSWR and an insertion loss equivalent to the length of Waveguide. Contacts are treated with special finish to ensure negligible electrolytic corrosion.

The motorized switch is designed for remote or unattended operations, but can be manually operated in the event of power interruptions. The RF portion of the switch is identical for the manual and motorized versions. The switch drive is configured for 115 or 230VAC and can operate with either 12 or 24 VDC control voltages. 

The variety of switches available from MCI eliminates the need of coax patch panel, thereby permitting the use of all Waveguide components. An all Waveguide RF system can improve the transmitter efficiency by as much as 10%, while reducing the overall system VSWR and the number of RF components.
